NUCLEAR ASSAULT: European Tour Cancelled?
March 16, 2004According to Irish concert promoter Emerald Promotions, NUCLEAR ASSAULT have been forced to cancel their previously announced European tour "due to the guitarist leaving" [presumably referring to Erik Burke — Ed.]. No further information is available at this time.
NUCLEAR ASSAULT — Burke, vocalist/guitarist John Connelly, bassist Danny Lilker and drummer Glenn Evans — last summer commenced work on their first new studio album in 10 years at the studios of Timothy Koukos, head of Screaming Ferret Wreckords, in Manchester, New Hampshire. The as-yet-untitled effort will reportedly include brand new material as well as several cuts written by Connelly after the band first broke up in the early 1990s.
